In partnership with the West Central Texas Council of Governments’ Community Health and Development Center, TMCN will again host the annual Newly Elected Officials Seminar on July 14th at the COG.
This seminar is intended for newly elected City Council/Commission members as well as any city official wanting a refresher on the best practices of public service.
The Seminar will be facilitated by Cisco City Manager Darwin Archer and include the following topics:
We have also honored to have Representative Stan Lambert leading a discussion about Representing Your Constituents as well as providing some key insights on the priority issues leading into the 2021 Legislative Session.
The Seminar will be held both virtually via Zoom Meeting as well as in-person in the Large Conference Room of the West Central Texas Council of Governments located at 3702 Loop 322 in Abilene. Those attending in-person will be required to wear a mask which will be provided. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
