Get out of Neutral Workshop

$40Are you an EDC Director with a mound of projects or ideas that haven’t left your desk? We want to help you turn your project or idea into a reality by attending this action-oriented event. You will come away with a strong plan to turn your idea into a reality and many new resources. No ideas or projects? No worries. We will have a brainstorming session to help you choose a project or flush out your ideas. Resource organizations and seasoned individuals will be on-hand to see if their programs/knowledge can help with your project.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The Rural Spark (Jimi Coplen) will lead Economic Developers in a hands-on workshop to take any project to the next level. The workshop will help
economic developers get past the roadblocks and turn their ideas into a reality. You will leave with a strong plan by the end of the day to tackle your project and a resource guide to use in the future.
Resource organizations such as USDA, TDA, SBDC, WCTCOG, and more will be on-hand to help participants. There will also be retired ED Directors on-hand to help guide you. This group will be the resource team, lending their expertise directly to you, the rural economic developers.
We know you have many projects on your plate. We want you to bring one project that you need the most help with, or the one you feel is stuck and you can’t get past a certain point, or one that needs a little help to be pushed over the finish line. No project? No problem. We will help you brainstorm, or you can come and be a resource and help others. You will work with your peers and our incredible resource team to create a useful, viable plan. You will not leave empty-handed.
