DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the West Central Texas Council of Governments\, TMCN will again host the annual Elected Officials Seminar on July 12th\, 2022. \nThis seminar is intended for newly-elected City Council/Commission members as well as any city official wanting a refresher on the best practices of public service. \n \nThe Elected Officials Seminar will be facilitated by Cisco City Manager Darwin Archer and include the following topics: \n\nParliamentary Procedure/Open Meetings Act\nMaking Dollars Count in Your Budget\nMaximizing Your Economic Development Power\nEthics and Conflicts of Interest\nEffective Working Relationships\nDeveloping Viable Communities Using Grants\nUtilizing Small Business and Local Government Assistance\, TCEQ\n\nWHEN: July 12\, 2022 \nWHERE: Region 14 Service Center 4300 S.
